Jaelynn Lykins, Mallory Winner, Brenna Ruble, and Chloe Brown each collected three hits for Jay County Patriots. Woodlan were the first to get on the board in the first when K Reed grounded out, scoring one run. Jay County Patriots made the score 4-3 in the top of the sixth after Winner singled, scoring one run, Ava Bice singled, scoring two runs, and Natalie May hit a sacrifice fly, scoring one run. L Metzger doubled to center field, which helped Woodlan tie the game at four in the bottom of the seventh. S Martin earned the win for Woodlan. The reliever surrendered four hits and zero runs over two and two-thirds innings, striking out one and walking none. Winner took the loss for Jay County Patriots. The pitcher went nine and one-third innings, surrendering five runs on 11 hits, striking out nine and walking five. P Emenhiser started in the circle for Woodlan. The pitcher allowed six hits and three runs over five innings, striking out one and walking two. Jay County Patriots collected 15 hits in the game.
