The Jay County Girls’ JV soccer team competed against the Norwell Knights. After a hard fought battle, Norwell came out with the win with a final score of 2-0. JV moves to a record of 2-2 for the season. Ayla Jackson, Maria Laux and Gracie Rowles all had shots on goal. Elly Byrum, Gabby Gibson, and Laux played vital roles in keeping the ball on the offensive end. Rowles made her goalie debut in the first half and recorded 5 saves. Raylin Hummer recorded 8 saves as the second half goalie. Great effort, ladies! -Coach Amber Houck The last time JV will be in action for this season is Saturday, September 27th. Varsity will start at 3pm, and a JV half will follow.
