JC Girls Soccer Dominate Start Leads to an 8-0 Win Over Wapahani

The Lady Patriot girls soccer team faced Wapahani tonight and won with a score of 8-0. They are now 5-2 for the 2025 season. "Show dominance from the start" was the game plan, and they did just that. In the 1st half, Charlee Peters scored the 1st goal, assisted by Aixa Lopez @ 39:41min. The 2nd goal was scored 20 seconds later by Aixa Lopez, as well as the 3rd goal of the game @26:29min left of the game. The 4th goal was scored by Maria Laux (1st career goal!) , assisted by Elly Byrum (1st career assist!) @ 23:17min. The 5th goal was scored by Ayla Jackson @ 19:15min. London Lloyd scored the 6th goal @ 7:40min. Aixa Lopez scored the 7th & last goal of the half @ 6:09min (her 2nd hat-trick of the season!). In the 2nd half, the Lady Patriots were able to play their entire bench and the starters were challenged to practice and shoot deep shots. The only goal scored in the 2nd half was by Maria Laux @ 14min left of the game, in which she nailed a shot from 25 yards back from the goal, landing just above the goalie's hands. Next, the Lady Patriots play on Thursday, September 11th against Oak Hill @ Home @ 5:30pm, Varsity only.
