The 2025 Lady Patriots golf season came to a close today, capping off a year of tremendous growth and achievement. The team placed 7th out of 12 schools at the Muncie Central Sectional, posting a season-best team score of 417. Leading the way was Junior Erin Aker, who fired a career-low 94, shooting consistent rounds of 47 on both the front and back nine. Erin missed advancing to regionals by just three strokes — an incredible accomplishment and a sign of great things to come. Right behind her was Freshman Alexa Ridenour, who turned in a career-best 100, including a career-low 46 on the front nine and a 54 on the back. Sophomore Elizabeth Brunswick also hit her stride, carding a career-low 105, with a personal-best 50 on the front nine and 55 on the back. Junior Taven Bentley shot a career-low 119, while Freshman Reny Lingo posted a career-best 118, rounding out a day filled with personal records and team pride. Coach Allred expressed pride in the team's development and resilience throughout the season, saying, “I couldn’t be prouder of these girls. The improvements they’ve made and the way they competed today show how much they’ve grown. I’m already looking forward to what 2026 brings.” Congratulations, Lady Patriots — you made JC proud today!
