The Jay County girls soccer team faced Muncie Central tonight, and capped off their regular season with a 9-0 win against the Bearcats. The Lady Patriots end their regular season with an 11-4-1 record! In the 1st half, London Lloyd scored the 1st goal @ 30:27min left, assisted by Aixa Lopez. The 2nd goal was scored by Aixa Lopez @ 14:31min left. The 3rd goal was scored by London Lloyd @ 11:43min left, assisted by Raylin Hummer. The 4th and final goal of the half was scored by Finley Hatzell @ 9:45min left, assisted by London Lloyd. In the 2nd half, a key defender for the Lady Patriot's, Emma Hatzell, had a career night. Before going into this game, Emma Hatzell has never scored a goal. To start the 2nd half, she played as a right forward, resulting in her 1st career goal @ 38:48min left, assisted by London Lloyd. She didn't stop there! Hatzell scored again @ 36:46min left, assisted by Raylin Hummer. Next, London Lloyd scored @ 33:14min left (HAT-TRICK!), assisted by Raylin Hummer. The 8th goal of the game was scored by Tessa Frazee, who also traditionally plays as a defensive player, but stepped up to the challenge and was able to score her first career goal @ 26:36min left.
