Varsity vs Huntington North High School (2 - 3) Loss Varsity Boys Soccer traveled to Huntington North High School on Saturday. The game was back and forth. Huntington North would jump out with a goal making it 1-0. Halftime came and the score was 1-0 Huntington. In the 2nd half Jay would even it up in the 32nd minute when Raif Beiswanger would find Jacoby Penrod making it 1-1. Then in the 23rd minute Emmitt Reynolds found Raif Beiswanger making it 2-1. Huntington would score again making it 2-2. With five minutes left in the game Huntington was able to score again making it 3-2. The game would end with a final score of 3-2. Jay County end the regular season with the record of 6-9-1. Peyton Yowell recorded 1 save. Zavier Hudson recorded 8 saves on the day. Jay County will now focus on Sectionals that start Tuesday @ 5PM. Jay will go against Oak Hill at Missisinewa High School.
